What sizes are there?

See our products page for sizes for immediate rental & purchase of used tents.

Please call for any additional sizes.

What styles are there and what are the differences?

a.   Hip End vs. Gable
On the hip design the tent material comes from the center pole or peak of the tent to a constant overall height.

The Gable end design is a flat piece of material that follows the peak of the tent with varying exterior pole heights.

b.   Frame vs. Pole

Our frame tent is a structural tent manufactured from steel tubing, however it is not a true “freestanding” tent as most advertise.  The tent only has perimeter poles and no interior poles but still requires anchoring.  The vinyl is stretched across the framed structure providing cover.  The advantages of the frame tent is the interior is free from pole obstruction. Based on design we have the capability to anchor a frame tent with water barrels vs driving stakes into the surface and the ability to have the tent flush with another building or structure.  The disadvantages are they are more costly due to the number of employees needed to install and tear down the structure, not as easily transported and come in smaller sizes.

Our pole tent is a more economical tent to cover a large area and comes in various sizes.  The pole tent will have interior poles as well as perimeter poles and the pole tent can NOT  be anchored with water barrels.  The pole tent is a “push-pole” tent, which means we literally push the tent top up with the poles and there is not a framed structure.  A push pole tent maintains its integrity by tension created by tightening the tent’s chains, which are anchored by stakes secured in the ground.  The advantages are the pole tent is much more cost effective for large coverage, easily stored and transported and requires less staff to install and dismantle the tent.  The disadvantages are the tent must be anchored into the ground no matter the surface and has interior poles for support and must be at least 6’ from any existing building or structure.

c.      Sectional vs Whole Piece   This solely depends on your desired end use.  A sectional tent allows you to add sections in the future to the length of the tent to alter the size whereas a whole piece tent is just that, one piece of vinyl and it will always be the same size.  Both have advantages and disadvantages which are dependant upon the end use.  Typically 10’, 15’, 20’, & 30’ tents can be either whole piece or sectional, but all 40’ tents and larger are sectional tents

How much room do we need for a tent?

The stakes and chains extend 6’ from the edge of the tent on all 4 sides.  Add 15’ to the width & length of the desired tent size to determine the required area for the tent.  For example, if you are renting a 30’ x 50’ tent you will need at least 45’ x 65’ of unobstructed space.

What comes in a complete tent package or set?

The tent top, detachable walls to enclose the tent during inclement weather, steel poles, stakes, and chains.  (We do not use ropes or rachet straps to secure the tent)
